Which one is better, Kindle Fire or iPad mini in 2012?

Apple is rumored to be exploring a new low-cost iPad for release in 2012. It said that Apple planed to release iPad mini for countering Amazon Kindle Fire, as the recently announced Amazon Kindle Fire and its $199 price.
“‘iPad mini’ is expected to arrive in the first few months of 2012, allowing Apple to tap into a “more price sensitive consumer segment,” and also fend off the Amazon Kindle Fire, the retailer’s first entrance into the touchscreen tablet market.”

Review of iPad mini
The “mini” name may not refer to the size of the device, but a lower entry-level price. Someone believes that this lower priced iPad could be priced in the mid-to-high-$200 range. Surely, everyone expects this will be followed by a much more powerful, feature rich standard-priced iPad 3 in the second quarter of 2012.

iPad mini vs Amazon Kindle Fire
The Amazon Kindle Fire sports a screen size of 7 inches, If Apple does launch a 7-inch iPad, the lower-end tablet would compete directly with two popular, similarly-priced color slates: the Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble’s $250 Nook Color.

The new Kindle Fire, Amazon’s $200 color slate that’s already selling well. The current iPad 2 starts at $500 but offers more goodies than the Kindle Fire, including a larger 9.7-inch display (vs. the Fire’s 7-inch), front and rear cameras (the Fire lacks a camera), and a mega-selection of apps.

Import Canon video to Amazon Kindle Fire and iPad mini
