Best tool to watch free movies on Kindle Fire

Can you watch movies on a Kindle Fire when you arent connected to internet?
Im thinking about buying a Kindle Fire. I know you have to be connected to interenet in order to download the movies. But once they are, do you have to remain connected to watch them? Example: I want to be able to let my daughter watch movies or tv shows in the back seat while Im driving.
As its competitive price to iPad $500, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster polled 410 U.S. consumers last week and found that 62 percent of those surveyed said they would pick a 7-inch Amazon tablet that costs $199, compared with 21 percent of consumers who said they would pick a 9.7-inch iPad that costs $599.
Very likely we will own a Kindle Tab other than a iPad. To sync video to Kindle Fire Tab MP4 for playing, we will use Kindle Fire Tablet Video Converter.

JayCut an internet based video editing software tool

JayCut was an internet based video editing software tool that along with competitors Jumpcut.com, Motionbox and Eyespot were the first to offer this Web 2.0 feature pioneered by FORscene, later also added by YouTube through Adobe. Visitors edit directly in the web browser without downloading application software. The free video editing service shut down on January 31, 2012.
JayCut allows users to download their videos to their Personal Computer or Mobile Phone, or publish their videos on video-sharing websites, like YouTube. User-made JayCut videos have a 4:3 fullscreen aspect ratio, however, the videos don't carry a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
Pros
Clean interface. Novice-friendly controls. Decent number of video effects. Unlimited storage. Ability to record or upload audio. Free.
Cons
Publish link not prominent enough. Published movies automatically appear in your public profile. The method by which you delete video from your public profile isn't obvious. Can't drag video directly into the application.
Bottom Line
JayCut offers a surprising amount of functionality for a Web app, but potential privacy concerns and easily-correctable design choices sully the experience a bit.

Best free Video Player for your Nook Tablet

Moboplayer is a great app for watching videos on the Nook Tablet. Like every other video player app out there, MKV files are sluggish and should be avoided, but AVI, MP4, WMV, and most other formats play smoothly. There are also great on-screen controls that will adjust volume by swiping up/down on the right side of the screen, and brightness by swiping the left side. Users can also change aspect ratio and skip backward or forward.
MoboPlayer includes coverflow, grids, or list modes to browse through videos. File descriptions (size, runtime, and resolution) are also listed, and users can designate the folder they wish to scan for videos. Users can also create playlists, so don't be surprised if you get the urge to watch videos until your battery gives out.
Right now, I need a tablet that I can put my iTunes music, movies, and books on. I know that this may not be available for these unless i first convert them, but what do I need to convert them to, and which table does it work better with? Also, the tablet must have flash player (so I can watch online videos from fox.com and CBS.com, to catch up on my tv). And it needs to have good apps, lots of them free (could you give me a link to the app store for the tablet?). And lastly, it needs to be easy to read on and have plenty of books available, soon after they are released. If you know of a better tablet, feel free to mention it.
On the market have free Rock player, yxplayer, kinda player, NC player, but the best app is: Moboplayer free
