Moboplayer is a great app for watching videos on the Nook Tablet. Like every other video player app out there, MKV files are sluggish and should be avoided, but AVI, MP4, WMV, and most other formats play smoothly. There are also great on-screen controls that will adjust volume by swiping up/down on the right side of the screen, and brightness by swiping the left side. Users can also change aspect ratio and skip backward or forward.
MoboPlayer includes coverflow, grids, or list modes to browse through videos. File descriptions (size, runtime, and resolution) are also listed, and users can designate the folder they wish to scan for videos. Users can also create playlists, so don't be surprised if you get the urge to watch videos until your battery gives out.
Right now, I need a tablet that I can put my iTunes music, movies, and books on. I know that this may not be available for these unless i first convert them, but what do I need to convert them to, and which table does it work better with? Also, the tablet must have flash player (so I can watch online videos from fox.com and CBS.com, to catch up on my tv). And it needs to have good apps, lots of them free (could you give me a link to the app store for the tablet?). And lastly, it needs to be easy to read on and have plenty of books available, soon after they are released. If you know of a better tablet, feel free to mention it.
