HTC Sensation 4G vs Samsung Galaxy S2

The Smartphones are getting bigger and better with time. The HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S2 are coming to the Android market: two Smartphones overflowing with superlatives, high-end specs and consumer appeal. Now, We’ll run through the specs and see who’s the winner of these two powerhouses.

HTC Sensation vs Samsung Galaxy S2

Starting with OS version:

Both HTC sensation and Galaxy S2 are having Android 2.3 Gingerbread Version, which is latest from Google, meant for Smartphones with Powerful Hardware.

Size(Winner-Samsung Galaxy S2):

HTC Sensation 4G has a dimension of 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm and weighs at 148 g. Samsung Galaxy S2 has a dimension of 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm and weighs at 116 g.

Display( winner-HTC Sensation)

HTC sensation has a 4.3 inch qHD display with 540×960 display resolution. Certainly HTC here has an edge over Galaxy S2 with a better Screen Resolution maintaining the HD standards.

Samsung Galaxy S2 has  a 4.27 Super Amoled Display with display resolution of 400×800 pixels, large enough to be a decent smartphone.

Interface(Winner-HTC Sensation)

Both the Sensation and the Galaxy S II are running Android 2.3.3, and both have had an overlay placed on top of Google’s OS by their parents, clearly wanting to stamp their individuality onto their flagship smartphone.

We’ll start by looking at the power under the finger of each device, and we’re presented with a pretty even contest once more – both will react with the utmost speed, which is especially impressive on the HTC Sensation with its 3D Sense 3.0 overlay. HTC Sensation, simply because Sense UI was already great, and just got a little better.

Camera(winner-Samsung Galaxy S2):

Both the smartphones have high quality front and rear camera helping you with clicking pictures, videos and initiate comfortable Video Conference calls.

HTC Sensation: 8MP rear , 1.2MP front

Samsung galaxy S2 : 8MP rear , 2MP front (S2 has a better front Camera )

Power(Winner-Samsung Galaxy S2)

Both of these devices boast a huge amount of horsepower, and their 1.2GHz dual-core CPU’s do a great job of thrashing labour intensive tasks without even breaking sweat, though the Samsung does take the tape first in terms of RAM, with 1GB installed compared to the HTC’s 768MB.

That minor difference may be all that separates these two great devices but it may turn out to be critical as Android and its apps and games become more labour intensive, so don’t write it off as inconsequential.

Software(Winner-HTC Sensation)

As we previously mentioned, both of these super smartphones run on Google’s ubiquitous Android OS (version 2.3.3) but they are fronted by unique custom UI’s which bring new apps, widgets and eye-candy to the table.

The Samsung Galaxy S II, with its TouchWiz 4.0 UI, expands on the natural good looks of Android, and offers some new features like Samsung’s Hubs (for buying content such as eBooks, music and periodicals) as well as pretty tight social networking integration, supporting Twitter, Facebook, MySpace& LinkedIn.

The HTC Sensation, however, comes packed with the next iteration of HTC’s super smooth Sense UI (version 3.0) which, apart from being easy on the eye, offers great social networking integration, new widgets and apps. Samsung has come close with this latest version of TouchWiz, but SenseUI is still streets ahead.

Processors(winner-Samsung Galaxy S2)

HTC Sensation will be powered By 1.2 GHz dual core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon, with Adreno 220 GPU. Now thats Some real Power.

Where as Samsung galaxy S2 will come with two/three variants featuring Exynos 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GHz processor and nVIDIA Tegra 250 1 GHz dual core processors. This is something to lookout for ,if experts are to believed all the variants above mentioned are above par excellence in Mobile processing.

All in all, both androids are great choices, most of the features and such comes down to personal preferences. You can’t go wrong with either choice as they are both superior Smartphones in the market today and definitely the best money can buy! No matter what  you choose, HTC sensation or Samsung Galaxy S2, both are powerful Android 2.3 Smartphone, however, there is a great and universal video converter mac which canconvert video to HTC Sensation mac and mac video to Samsung Galaxy S2 for enjoyment your digital life, of course, it can manage to convert HTC Sensation video and Samsung Galaxy S2 video to other popular video format including AVI,WMV, FLV,MPG,MP4,DV,MOV,HDV etc.

HTC Sensation video and Samsung Galaxy S2 video are also allowed to convert byvideo converter on Windows.
