Convert Panasonic Lumix G2 AVCHD Lite to Final Cut Express on mac

Just bought a Panasonic Lumix camera which also records 720p video in ACVHD format. FCE picks up other videos just fine, but won’t even see AVCHD videos. I’ve tried opening the videos directly to FCE, but no luck there, either. I’d be very grateful for any suggestions. With thanks in advance.



I’ am lucky that many people have provided me with helpful advices, here, I want to share this solution with more people, Hope that it can help more Panasonic Lumix fans who wants to edit Panasonic Lumix series videos to FCE on mac os.

Click the drop drown menu next to the “Destination” field, chose the folder to save the converted MTS video.



Step 3: Convert Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 AVCHD to MOV for Final Cut Express.
