Smart Phone Comparison:HTC Desire vs HTC Desire HD vs Samsung Galaxy s2 vs iPhone4

“I’ve been looking at a few phones and these four cought my eye the HTC Desire, the HTC Desire HD, the Samsung Galaxy s2 and iPhon4, which one is best? I know the Desire HD has better specs, but is it really worth getting the HD over the original-considering the price difference?”

To be frank, these Smart Phone all are great. The HTC Desire and HTC Desire HD are Android smartphone by HTC Corporation; the Samsung Galaxy S II is best smart phone of the Korean firm and the iPhone 4 is a touchscreen smart phone developed by Apple.

First, the most obvious difference between the Desire HD and the HTC Desire is the display: HTC DES. HD 4.3″, 480×800, 217ppi, AMOLED; HTC DES 3.7″, 480×800, 252ppi, AMOLED. Additional, Desire HD screen doesn’t have the eye-burning saturation of the Samsung Galaxy S2, or the pin-sharp resolution of the iPhone 4, but it still looks very good indeed.

Second, the original HTC Desire is smaller in almost every department than HTC Desire HD: HTC DESIRE 119 x 60 x 11.9mm, 135g ; HTC DESIRE HD 123 x 68 x 11.8 mm, 164g. Samsung Galaxy S2:125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5mm, 116g and iPhone4: 115.2 x 58.6x 9.3mm, 137g.

Third, about Engine Room, HTC DES. HD: 1GHz QSD 8255, 768MB RAM, Adreno 205; HTC DES.:1GHz QSD 8250, 576MB RAM, AMD Z430, Samsung Galaxy S2:1.2 GHz processor ARM Cortex A9, iPhone: Apple A4 CPU, 512MB.

Fourth: about Imaging: HTC DES. HD: 8MP, dual LED flash, 720p video capture; HTC DES.: 5MP, LED flash, 720p video capture; iPhone 4: 5MP, AF, flash, 720p video capture; Samsung Galaxy S2: 8MP, LED flash, 1080p video capture.

Fifth: about Storage DES HD: 1.5GB + expansion with microSD card; HTC DES: 512MB + microSD expandable; Galaxy S2: 16GB or 32GB models; iPhone 4: 32GB

HTC Desire, HTC Desire HD, Samsung Galaxy S II and iPhone 4 all can act as a great MP4 video player, but can not accept other video like mov, flv, wmv, avi, mpg etc. If you want to play these common video on these smart phone, you will need to convert video to MP4 with MP4 video converter.

In the world of technology, gadgets seem to become more powerful and it takes a while for the software to catch up ,We're just about at that stage now with mobile phones. The HTC Desire was a landmark phone in the fight against the iPhone, but now tech has moved up a level,The HTC Sensation is a Smartphone designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation that runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software stack. It was officially announced by HTC Corporation on April 12, 2011.

Gadgets seem to become more powerful and it takes a while for the software to catch up, after lunching HTC Desire successfully, HTC Sensation which was Officially announced by HTC on April 12, 2011,  is a Smartphone designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation that runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software stack, I believe this new tech has moved up a level for Mobile Phones.

HTC Sensation

HTC has gone from being an unknown manufacturer for bigger brands to one spewing out leading Android smart phones. The HTC Sensation, which is one of the most powerful devices available, has on board the latest Android version – Gingerbread 2.3.3 – but at this time can’t actually do anything more than its less beefy rivals.

The HTC Sensation is currently the newest Smartphone available on T-Mobile’s network. When compared to recent Android phones across all carriers, the HTC Sensation 4G has a superior screen resolution and a dual-core system on a chip (SoC) that provides enough muscles to power a smooth user experience, entertainment and video games.

Reviews:

The good 1: 4G Gingerbread 4.3in screen + qHD TONS of RAM Tons of internal storage front facing camera not made by apple

The good 2: The duel core is very fast that hasn’t had a slow moment on the phone yet. Quadrant standard score is around 2200′s. The duel flash is bright; both cameras work well and take better video and pictures than past HTC phones I have owned. It looks good and feels of good build quality.

The good 3: The HTC Sensation 4G boasts a sleek, high-quality design with a gorgeous 4.3-inch qHD display. The Android Smartphone also features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 8-megapixel camera, and the HTC Sense user interface brings some thoughtful and useful new features.

The bad 1: The Smartphone doesn’t offer much internal memory, and the phone’s speakers are pretty weak.

The bad 2: Small battery lasts a day, but no more death grip makes me lose 1-2 bars in small connection zones bad speaker, but I don’t mind.

The bad 3: I have been able to kill the WIFI on the phone by holding it in the “death grip”. For how hard it is to kill the WIFI and it’s in a manor that I would never hold my phone it was uncomfortable to kill the connection. I have yet to kill the 4G with that same choke hold. It’s nothing like the iPhone antenna problem.

Conclusion:

It’s the best overall Android phone we’ve used, and the only real thing we have against it is the 4G speed, which is really on T-Mobile’s back. The build quality is just that good. When the Samsung Galaxy S II comes out, it will be a bit thinner and faster, but the Sensation should put up a pretty good fight, but I believe, Known as “thin and super light’ Smartphone, HTC Sensation will lead the dominant role in the mobile phone market, in the above “HTC Sensation Specification”, you can notice that 3GP, .3G2, MP4, WMV, AVI, XVID video format are compatible with HTC sensation, so if you want to play other video format to HTC Sensation, then, HTC Sensation converter mac comes up first, which not only can mac convert HTC Sensation video to other portable devices, but also can convert video to HTC Sensation mac

Tips: Windows users, you are also allowed to convert HTC Sensation file

Panasonic HDC TM 900 review:

The Panasonic HDC TM900 is about as serious as a consumer camcorder gets. It’s part of Panasonic’s top-end 3MOS line, which uses three CMOS sensors for filming; one sensor is dedicated to each primary color, so the color reproduction is incredibly true-to-life. As you’d expect from such an expensive camcorder, it shoots in 1080p at 24 or 60 frames per second, with strong image stabilization and through a bright f1.8, 20x intelligent zoom lens. It records in Dolby 5.1, and has an accessory port as well. And if you believe Panasonic, 3D is the next big thing, so the HDC TM900 also accepts 3D-converter lens (sold separately). The TM900 comes with 32GB of built-in flash memory, and accepts SD/SDHC/SDXC cards for additional storage. Also check out the HS900, which swaps the flash memory for a 220GB hard disk.

Canon Vixia HF S200 review:

The HF-S series is Canon’s head-honcho camcorder line, chock full of Canon’s top-notch proprietary components. It features a 10x optical zoom lens, 8.6 megapixel CMOS still-image sensor, 3.5-inch hi-res LCD touch screen, native AVCHD recording, and a host of other advanced features including Canon’s Smart Auto, Relay Recording, Powered IS, HD-to-SD down conversion, and Advanced Video Snapshot. The HF-S200 records to SD/SDHC memory cards. Unfortunately the S200 is a bit overpriced, and you’ll find more for less from other manufacturers.

Canon Vixia HF S200

Overall, I agree that Panasonic HDC-TM900 will be a good choice, it has 3D capability which will be next trendy element, but no matter which one you choose, Panasonic HDC TM 900 or Canon Vixia HF S200, they are both very HD video camcorders, here, there  is a great mac video converter you need to possess, which can mac convert Panasonic HDC-TM 900 video and convert Canon Vixia HF S200 video mac for enriching your digital life.
